In addition to the fines levied against defendants who are found guilty, $39 in state costs, $30 in court costs, $6 for court special projects and $5 for the court computerization fund will be assessed, a total of $80.
Samuel L. Beckley, Wharton – speeding 35 mph in a 20 mph school zone, fined $150.
Nathan A. Haase, 306 Liberty St., Ada – speeding 39 mph in a 25 mph zone, fined $25.
Kristyn D. Farmer, Findlay – speeding 45 mph in a 20 mph zone, fined $25.
Daniel G. Scott, Kirby – speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $15.
Nicholas E. Perry, 2515 TR 35, Ada – speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25.

Fined $25 for speeding 69 mph in a 55 mph zone were: Spenser W. Waller, 707 S. Main St., Ada; Daniel D. Girardot, Perrysburg; Ewa Elizabeth Kaczynska, 19508 CR 190, Kenton and Kevlin E. Bailey, Columbus.

CRIMINAL
Kevin R. Shepherd, 763 W. Lima St., Kenton – attempted possession of heroin, fined $500, 180 days in jail with 176 days suspended and credit for four days served, operator’s license suspended for six months and supervised probation for one year; receiving stolen property, dismissed at defendant’s costs due to plea negotiations; theft, fined $225, five days in jail with one day suspended and credit for four days served, unsupervised probation for six months and is to stay out of Kenton Variety Store during probation period. Jail and probation are concurrent to first charge.
Tracy Robinette, 539 Lincoln St., Ada – improper confining of a vicious dog, fined $225, five days in jail with four days suspended and 16 hours of community service in lieu of one day in jail, and unsupervised probation for six months; failure to confine a dog, no fine; failure to register a dog, fined $35.
Carol A. Jolliff, 2437 CR 175, Forest – aggrivated menacing, amended to persistant disorderly conduct, fined $150, five days in jail with no days suspended and credit for five days served; criminal trespassing, dismissed at defendant’s costs due to plea negotiations.
Kim Parr, 221 E. Lincoln St., Ada – disturbing the peace, fined $5.
Wesley D. Mercer, 13585 Station St., Hepburn – domestic violence, fined $225, 60 days in jail with 56 days suspended and credit for four days served, supervised probation for one year, domestic violence counseling ordered and is to have no contact with Misty Jacques, Austin Mercer, Bryce Mercer or 20374 CR 245, Mount Victory.
Candi Sprague, 305 N. McConnell St., Alger – failure to register a dog, fined $35.
Richard P. Shoop, 125 Chesney St., Kenton – junk on property violation, fined $75 with $50 suspended if property is cleaned to the satisfaction of the City of Kenton Police Department.
Jeffrey D. Manns, 13945, Ohio 31, Kenton – public indecency, fined $225, 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended and 80 hours of community service in lieu of five days in jail, supervised probation for one year and counseling appropriate for the offense is to be completed.
Greggory P. Weaver, 6401 Ohio 67 Lot 1, Kenton – theft, fined $225, 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended and unsupervised probation for one year.
Jesica A. Gilkey, 416 E. Franklin St., Kenton – theft, fined $225, five days in jail with four days suspended and 16 hours of community service in lieu of one day in jail, unsupervised probation for six months and is to stay out of Walmart during probation period.
Ben Sheets, 941 W. Kohler St., Kenton – theft, amended to criminal trespassing, fined $150, five days in jail with no days suspended and credit for five days served.
