Activities planned at Wharton Fest

WHARTON — The Wharton Festival is set for Saturday, July 21. The 3-on-3 basketball tournament begins at 9 a.m. at the park. This tournament is being sponsored by First Citizens National Bank. For more information, call 419-458-2121 or 419-458-2683.
The parade is scheduled for 4 p.m. WKXA’s “Big Dave” is the grand marshal for the parade. For more information on the parade, contact Holly Biller by email Rhae2007@verizon.net or call 419-458-1015 or 419-306-4957.
There will be food, fun and good times at the park following the parade.
This year, there will be a new feature called “Talent Time.” This is not a contest, so all participating will be winners. Those participating can be individuals, couples or groups. The talents can be vocal, instrumental, comedy, lip sync, etc. All categories will need to be family-oriented. For more information, call 419-458-2683 or 419-458-2121.
Living Water will be performing during the evening.
