Kenton band to perform at Allen East Invitational

HARROD — The Kenton High School Marching Band will be among eight bands participating in the 31st annual Mustang Brass Marching Band Invitational at Allen East High School on Saturday night.
The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Goodwin Football Field at Allen East, located at the corner of Ohio 309 and Napoleon Road.
Some 536 band members, twirlers and silks will be featured.
In addition to Kenton, bands from New Riegel, St. Henry, Arlington, Fort Jennings, Miller City, McComb and host Allen East will be performing.
The program begins with the posting of the colors, followed by the parade of bands and the massed band performance of the Star-Spangled Banner under the baton of host director Dennis Dellifield.
Tickets are $5 per person and will be available at the gate on Saturday night.
