Zoo at the fair

The Columbus Zoo will bring a variety of animals to the Hardin County Fair again this year for its show set for 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7.

Amber Wuersig, administrative assistant of animal programing at the zoo, said what animals are brought to the fair will not be decided until the morning of their appearance.

The program has been educating the public about the animals at the zoo for 35 years, she said, and it makes about 2,000 visits to events throughout the year.
