John Cole and Ruth Kerns are parents of a 7-pound, 14-ounce, 19.75-inch girl, Katherine Brianne Cole, born at 1:42 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at Loudon County Hospital in Virginia. Grandparents are William Joseph and Janet Kerns of Ridgeway, and Karen Cole, originally from Westville.
