Byers family has reunion

The family of Ebert and Roxie Byers’ reunion was held on July 21 at the Moose Family Recreation Center.
There were 60 family members in attendance. Family members from Kenton, Dunkirk, Michigan, Findlay, East Liberty, North Baltimore, Marion and Lima enjoyed a carry-in dinner, with Larry Mankey in charge of the grill.
Donald and Wendy Byers came the farthest, from Martin, Mich.
The oldest in attendance was Josephine Mankey.
The family of Claude and Caroline Byers had the most family members in attendance.
Tammy Harper brought old photos to share and many memories were shared.
The games that were played were cornhole and hillbilly golf, along with the playground area where the smaller kids had fun.
The next reunion will be held Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Moose.
