Hastings 111th reunion held

The 111th Hastings reunion was held July 28 at the clubhouse at Veterans Memorial Park. Relatives from Columbus, Lima and Kenton enjoyed a noon carry-in dinner.
President Russel Frost conducted the business meeting. Judy Kinney gave the secretary’s report and Jill Wetherill gave the treasurer’s report. The group voted to retain the current officers and Jan and Merwyn Hastings will be in charge of children’s games.
A beautiful floral arrangement was sent from Marilyn Mathews Hanson and husband Tom for all to enjoy.
Ellen Hastings was in charge of children’s games. All enjoyed a piñata and water balloon fight. Adult winners were Ellen Hastings, Kathy Kinney, Mike Frost, Wade Wetherill and Russ Frost.
The afternoon was spent visiting and enjoying ice cream.
The next reunion will be July 27, 2013 at the clubhouse.
