Head Start accepting applications for ’15-’16 Posted on April 8, 2015 0 The HHWP CAC Head Start program is accepting applications for the 2015-2016 school year. Head Start is a family-focused, free preschool program for income-eligible children 3 to 5 years old. The program provides education, socialization, nutritional food and health screenings. Families are also given support. There will be open houses during April for parents to learn about the enrollment process: Kenton Head Start open house – 4:30 to 7 p.m. today in the Kenton Head Start classrooms at the CAC building , 950 W. Kohler St.; McGuffey Head Start open house – 2 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 13 at Upper Scioto Valley School, 510 Courtright St. Applications are available Monday through Friday at the Head Start office on West Kohler Street in Kenton from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by appointment. Parents can also call the Head Start office at 419-674-4433 ext. 22, or get an application online at hhwpcac.org.
