The officers for the High Flyers 4-H club this year include (front, left) Grace Hattery – health officer, Olivia Hattery – news reporter, Kylee Baker – recreation, (back, left) Ethan Beverly – recreation, Logan Morris – president and Jordan Herzog – vice-president.
The High Flyers 4-H club met June 5 at 6:30 p.m. for their annual parent tea and installation of officers.
The American flag pledge was led by Ashley Morris and the 4-H pledge was led by Sarah Rish. The minutes were read and approved. Roll call was “introduce your guest.”
In old business, members were reminded to pay for dues and books.
In new business was the installation of officers in honor of President Logan Morris, Vice President Jordan Herzog, Secretary Kylie Bell, Treasurer CJ Clum, Reporter Olivia Hattery, Health Officer Grace Hattery, Saftey Officer Jenna Clum, and Recreation Kylee Baker, Britton Bell, Ethan Beverly, and Paxton Rembis.
Advisors announced that camp signup is June 8 at the Courthouse and that the fishing derby is at Russ Cahill’s June 19 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Advisors also reminded members now that shcool is out, meetings are once every week.
The next meeting is June 12 at 6:30 p.m. with a health report by Grace Hattery, a safety report by Jenna Clum, and a number of demonstrations by Molly Walter, Abbey Bell, Keyana Miller, Grace Hattery, and Alyssa McLaughlin.
Recreation will be done by Ethan Beverly and Paxton Rembis and cookies will be brought by Ashley Morris and Ethan Beverly.
