Those attending Immaculate Conception Church’s annual summer festival this year will have a chance at winning some big raffle prizes.
The festival, which will be Saturday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 2:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the church parking lot at 220 E. North St., will feature a raffle drawing with prizes including a queen-sized, Amish-made quilt, and several overflowing themed baskets. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased both days of the festival. Entertainment, food and games will be offered both days as well.
Providing the entertainment for Saturday evening is Linda K. and Co. featuring Linda Farmer. Her act is well-known in the Lima area and beyond. She is an Ohio Karakoe Singing Champion and wond the 2003 Columbus Idol. She is not only a superb vocalist, but a DJ as well.
Sunday’s entertainment begins with a Talent Showcase, followed by a magic show by Shizzle Dizzle Magic. Musical entertainment for the evening will be provided by the crowd-pleasing band Pegasus.
Games for the whole family and delicious food will be available both days. Barbecue chicken dinners (served Sunday only) will be provided by Stretch and Donna’s BBQ and More. Pre-sale tickets are available for $8 at Home Savings and Loan or WKTN.
