Outstanding project

Christopher Thacker of Forest was judged as Outstanding of the Day and awarded the first place Clock Trophy at the Ohio State Fair on 4-H Leadership Day, Sunday, June 29. His project, Leadership Master, is for teens with previous leadership projects and activities and want more advanced leadership experience through developing their own project. He created a curriculum that can be used in 4-H, Scouting and other organizations to teach citizenship, civic responsibility, and encourage community service in youth. Christopher, the son of Shaun and Kristie Thacker, is a 10-year member of the Hardin Hi-Lighters 4-H Club and is a 2012 Ohio 4-H Ambassador.
