Volley for the Cure

The Riverdale Lady Falcon volleyball team will be hosting Marion Harding on Thursday for its annual Volley for the Cure Foundation game. The JV game will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity to follow. There are several special events planned throughout the evening as the team will be honoring the breast cancer survivors in attendance. There will also be a silent auction, raffles, bake sale,contests and Coldstone Creamery will be on hand with pink ice cream and other tasty treats. The Riverdale Education Association will sponsor a “Best in Pink” costume contest. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
