A group of students from the Kenton area went without any food for 30 hours and spent the night sleeping in shelters they built from boxes at the Kenton practice football field. The discomfort was meant to heighten their awareness of those who are faced with living in poverty conditions. Statistics shared with the students from Love INC showed there are currently 13 adults and five homeless children in the county. The project was sponsored by the Kenton Fellowship of Christian Athletes with members of the Atlanta Masters Commission assisting.
