The six black horses hitched to the wagon of Andrew Kidd were a popular entry with the guests at the grandstands Friday afternoon who watched the draft horse show at the Hardin County Fair. Kidd is the owner of Kidd Me Knot Farms of Findlay.

Horse barn improvements

Beef Dish Day
The flank steaks were featured during the dish day contest sponsored by the beef producers. Winners were (from left) first, Gloria Dulin’s Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry entry; second, Jennifer Richards’ stuffed flank stead in the crockpot recipe; third, Jackie James with stuffed flank steak and fourth, Roberta Whitmer with steakhouse pizza.
