With only 30 spaces left in the Veteran’s Circle at Grove Cemetery in Kenton and membership in the Hardin County Chapter of Disabled Veterans and VFW Post 3333 forcing the organizations into nonexistence, members of the two agencies spent most of what was left of their treasury on establishing a new veteran’s circle. With a large black stone marker and the flag pole, no services will take place this year at the new circle since it doesn’t yet hold the grave of a veteran. With the members of the VFW and DAV are (from left) Roger Crowe, fiscal officer for Grove Cemetery, along with Bob Butcher, Ron Black, Russ Spearman, Lynn Elsasser, Doug Seiler and Don Dunahue.
