Welcome sign » Times photo/Dan Robinson
Pete Musgrave, president of the Riverdale Community Lions Club, stands with one of the welcome signs built at the corporation limits of Forest. Musgrave and his sons, Allen, Joe and Scott, designed, constructed and installed the signs following donations from Buckeye Machine, Clark Shields Funeral Home, Martin’s Meats and Hempy Water Conditioning. The signs are located on the south entrance to the village on Ohio 53 and the east entrance on Ohio 53/37. Another sign was built at Riverdale Schools. The Riverdale Community Lions Club is a combination of the former clubs in Forest, Wharton and Mount Blanchard and membership information is available by calling 419-273-2310.
