Ada man stabbed

ADA — An Ada man was stabbed Sunday at his home in an altercation.
According to Ada Police Chief Michael Harnishfeger, officers were called to 415 N. Main St., where LaDre Collins, 18, had been stabbed in the side, just above the hip.
Collins was reportedly conscious and responsive when officers arrived. He was transported by Ada EMS to Lima Memorial Hospital where he is reportedly in stable condition. An update on his condition was not available at press time.
A suspect in the stabbing has been questioned and the incident remains under investigation, according to Harnishfeger. No arrests have been made at this time, he said.
