Alger woman guilty of stealing from fire dept.

An Alger woman was convicted of stealing money from the Alger Fire Department in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.
According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Angel Renee Biederman, 905 N. Main St., Alger, was placed on community control for two years and fined $200. Biederman must also perform 75 hours of community service if she is found to be medically able to do so. She is to have no contact with the Alger Fire Department and repay them $4,325 for money stolen.
In other recent cases, Sarah Marie Lease, 210 E. Wagner St., No. 223, Alger, was convicted of possession of heroin and fined $100. She was also placed on community control for two years and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service.
Cynthia Jo Archer, aka Cynthia Jo Lowry, Marysville, was found guilty of tampering with evidence and placed on community control for three years. She was also fined $50 and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
