Early voting for primary to start Tuesday

Absentee or early voting for the May 7 primary election begins at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Hardin County Board of Elections Office in the basement of the courthouse.
Not all precincts have issues or candidates on the ballot.
Kenton’s second ward will vote on candidates in the Republican primary for a city council member.
Voters in the following precincts will have issues on the May 7 ballot: Dunkirk/Blanchard, Cessna (only those in the Hardin Northern or Upper Scioto Valley School Districts), Forest/Jackson (only those in the Hardin Northern School District), Ada North, Ada South, Liberty, Lynn (only those in the Upper Scioto Valley School District), Alger/-McGuffey/Marion, McDonald, Pleasant, Roundhead, Taylor Creek (only those in Benjamin Logan School District) and Washington.
