Early voting underway

Early voting for the Nov. 5 general election started today at the Hardin County Board of Elections.
On the ballot are races for city and village offices, school boards and township trustees, along with some local issues.
Voting machines and paper ballots are available at the board office in the basement of the courthouse, said Director Sandra Bookmyer. Registered voters will need ID to cast their ballots, she said.
The board of elections is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and will remain open on Friday, Nov. 1 until 6 p.m. with hours on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon, said Bookmyer.
