Final days of early voting set in county

Times for the final days of in-person absentee/early voting for the Nov. 7 election have been set by the Hardin County Board of Elections.

Voting will take place in the board’s office in the basement of the courthouse. After 5 p.m. and on weekends, voters are to use the south entrance of the courthouse. The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, Oct. 30 through Friday, Nov. 3, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 4, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 5, 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 6, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To vote by mail, call the board of elections office, 419-674-2211, and the staff will send an absentee ballot request, or people can print a ballot request by going to the board’s website, www.hardin-countyelections.com.

Applications for absentee ballots to be sent by mail must be received in the board office by noon Saturday, Nov. 4. All mailed absentee ballots must be in the board’s office by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 7.
