Getting a boost

Cruz VanHoose gets a little advantage from Katie Beaman at the dumping tank during the Alger Corn Huskin’ Festival on Saturday and sends Allen County Sheriff Matt Treglia splashing into the water.

Visitors to the opening of the first Corn Huskin’ Festival were treated to a car show, music, games and food in what is hoped to become an annual event.
