Into the Woods at Bellefontaine High School

Bellefontaine High School will present the musical Into the Woods at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25 and 26.

The Steven Sondheim musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales, exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. Tickets go on sale Feb. 10 and can be purchased by cash or check (no online sales); contact 937-592-2620 or tickets@bhsmusical.com.

The musical is tied together by a story involving a childless baker (played by Gage Crouch) and his wife (Lily Turner) and their quest to begin a family, their interaction with a witch (Laney Mitchell) who has placed a curse on them, and their interaction with other storybook characters (including Jack, played by Corbin Baker).

The musical is directed by Brice Henry.
