Riverdale graduation slated Sunday

˙MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale High School graduation is set for 2 p.m. Sunday in the school gymnasium.
The class valedictorian is Jena Bushong, daughter of Dave and Wanda Bushong of Mount Blanchard. She earned a 4.0 grade point average and plans to attend Youngstown State University in its Honors College, majoring in mathematics. Her school activities included Soundations, library aide, Spanish Club, Riverdale Students Against Alcohol and Drug Addiction, National Honor Society and school play.
Class salutatorian is Kylie Cole, daughter of Jodi Cole of Forest. She plans to attend the University of Findlay, majoring in physical therapy. Her school activities included track team, basketball, soccer, National Honor Society and yearbook.
Named as honor graduates (3.6 overall GPA or higher) are Miranda Albert, Jena Bushong, Kylie Cole, Kendra Elwood, Emily Fintel, Alec Goodrich, Cody McCoy, Courtney Middleton, Kelsey Neal, Jessica Pahl, Veronica Penwell, Molly Radabaugh, Karen Wise, Evan Wolfe.
Graduation speaker will be John Livingston, a 1976 Riverdale graduate and co-valedictorian. A graduate of the University of Findlay, he serves on the Riverdale Board of Education.
