Seniors honored
Agnes Crates (center) was named the Hardin County Senior Citizen of the Year Friday morning at the annual Council On Aging luncheon at the community building of the fairgrounds. The 98-year-old Ada resident recited an original poem for the crowd prior to being announced as the county’s outstanding senior. With Crates are volunteers of the year Jerri Cowen (left) and Marcella Chamberlain.
