‘Smore’ field

A clinging snow Thursday stayed around in the frigid sunlight Friday, leaving an area covered with burr weeds at the entrance of Lawrence Woods looking more like a field of marshmallows.

The temperatures are expected to continue to be cold today, but a slight warming trend is predicted for the remainder of the week.
