Times reporter struck by pickup

A Kenton Times reporter was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in downtown Kenton Tuesday morning.
Daniel Robinson, 21649 Ohio 31, Mount Victory, was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment by BKP EMS.
According to a Kenton Police report, Robinson was in the crosswalk on East Columbus Street at North Main Street, walking north from the south side of intersection.
Michael Sites, 10203 CR 30, Dunkirk, was traveling south on North Main Street in a Dodge Ram pickup and began to turn left onto East Columbus Street when he struck Robinson, causing him to hit the ground.
Police said Sites pulled over the vehicle and awaited law enforcement and EMS. Sites was cited for a pedestrian right-of-way violation.
