Water to be shut off for part of Kenton Posted on August 3, 2020 0 The City of Kenton has announced a water shut-off today for residents living on W. Espy Street between Detroit and Railroad streets and those living on Railroad between Espy and Fontaine streets. Residents living in the 400 block of Waterworks Drive also may be impacted. Cindy Murray, safety service director, said the reason for the shutdown is to tie in the new water line that is being installed coming from the water treatment plant. The shut-off will occur during the day today and should only last for several hours. When water service is restored, these residents only will be under a boil water advisory until notified.
