Services for Betty M. Shark will be 10 a.m. Friday at Clark Shields Funeral Home in Forest by Pastor Denny Livingston. Interment will follow in Hueston Cemetery, Forest.
Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Thursday.
She died Monday, May 7, 2012 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born Sept. 17, 1926 in Lima to the late Harry and Treva (Sowers) Ingle. She married Carson E. Shark on Aug. 3, 1946 and he survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Carson Shark II of California, Vincent (Susie) Shark of Forest, Jerry Shark of Oklahoma, John (Mary) Shark of Lexington, Ohio and Robert (Nancy) Shark of Missouri; two daughters, Marla (Roger) Hemmerly of Kenton and Kathie (Denis) Phillips of Forest; a brother, William (Atta) Ingle of Waynesville, two sisters, Clara Martin of Dunkirk and Treva Donel of Florida; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter,    Sherry Shark; three brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.
She attended the Forest United Methodist Church.
