Catherine “Kitty” Freed Posted on January 14, 2017 0 Catherine “Kitty” Freed Ada A memorial service and celebration of life for Catherine Freed will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9, in the Old Cadet Chapel at West Point, N.Y., followed by burial in the West Point National Cemetery. Catherine (Kitty) Freed passed away peacefully in the Freeds’ home in Ada, Ohio on November 25, 2016. A memorial and celebration of life service for her was held in the English Chapel of Ohio Northern University on December 17, 2016. The family suggests no flowers or memorial contributions. A block of rooms has been set aside at the Thayer Hotel, West Point, for those who plan to attend the memorial service at West Point on March 9 and want to stay at the hotel. Reservation requests can be made by calling 800-247-5047 by February 6, and asking for one of the rooms for the Catherine Freed Memorial Service.
