Charlene Skidmore
age 83, Belle Center
Services for Charlene Skidmore will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center by Pastor Neil D. Partington. Burial will be in McDonald Fairview Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday.
She died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Hardin County on Sept. 20, 1928 to the late Dewey Pearl and Garnet (Dicus) Dreitzler. On Oct. 1, 1949 she married Wayne Skidmore and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1995.
Surviving are a daughter, Cindy (Lance) Shepherd of Belle Center; two sons, Greg (Diana) Skidmore and Kevin (Gloria) Skidmore, both of Belle Center; seven grandchildren, Heather, Michelle, Rebecca, Jordan, Weston, Kayla and Tyler; six great-grandchildren, Marissa, Gwenna, Allison, Emily, Danica and Travis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sidney McGinnis.
A homemaker, she had attended the Roundhead United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hardin County Hospice.
