age 78, Pinellas Park, Fla.
Military memorial services for Clarence Ray Castle Sr. will be at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Bay Pines Memorial Park in St. Petersburg, Fla.
He died April 29, 2012 at his daughter’s home surrounded by his family.
He was born Sept. 29, 1933 in Salyersville, Ky., to Joe Edgar and Daisy (Haney) Castle.
Surviving are a son, Clarence Castle Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three daughters, Crystal (Gary) Haralson, Teresa (Steve) Pelo and Clarissa (Michael) McGarvey, all of St. Petersburg, Fla.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Chester (Bonnie) Baughman of Kenton; three sisters, Mary (Fred) Sherman of St. Petersburg, Fla., Caroline (Ron) Allen of West Liberty and Libby Smith of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers, Thomas, Randall, Walter, Willie, Lee, Bobby and Billy, and a sister, Joann.
He graduated from Kenton High School in 1957 after serving two years in the U.S. Army.
