age 87, Lima
Services for D. O’Dene Hull will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Chiles-Lahman Funeral and Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel by Pastor Jeff Waite. Burial will be in the Dunkirk Cemetery.
Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until the time of services Sunday.
She died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at her residence.
She was born Dec. 16, 1924 in Dunkirk to Harley J. and Allyne Louthan King. On March 2, 1943 she married Charles I. Hull and he preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1995.
Surviving are a son, Ronald N. (Lynn M.) Hull of Lima; a daughter, Rhonda E. Curtin of Erlanger, Ky.; four grandchildren, Laura A. (Eric) Krogmeier of Taylor Mill, Ky., Lindsay B. Curtin of Wilmington, N.C., Cody R. Hull of Bowling Green and Jennifer L. (Eric Fyffe) Richer of Lima; two great-grandsons, Talan Fyffe and Wyatt J. Krogmeier; a brother, Robert L. (Esther) King of Arlington and a sister, Betty J. Arn of Kenton.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond L. Hull and a sister, Norma L. Davis.
She had been an independent contractor with her sister, Betty, as an interior decorator.
She was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church in Kenton and was a member of its choir.
She was an avid bowler for several years and enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles. She was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds.
