Fleece will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Dennis Burns. Burial will follow in Roundhead Cemetery. Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Monday. He died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1953 in Kenton to the late Charles William and Jean Evelyn (Danner) Fleece. On Feb. 8, 1975 he married Cathy Hottman and she survives in Kenton. Also surviving are a son, Craig (Jennifer) Fleece of Kenton; a brother; David (Susan) Fleece of Urbana; three grandchildren, Chase, Evelyn and Beatrice; and two nieces, Shellie (Bill) Crabtree of Kenton and Jodi Fleece-Hoop of Westerville. He was preceded in death by two infant siblings. Dewayne was a 1971 Kenton High School graduate and was employed as the Terminal Manager of the Simon Kenton and Harco Industries bus drivers for over 20 years. He enjoyed antique tractors, especially John Deere’s, but his true passion was his grandchildren, who he loved dearly. Memorial donations may be made to Harco Industries.
