Services for Eva Maxine Eley (nee Romick) will be at noon Saturday  at Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown by Pastor Butch Pursley.
Friends may call one hour before services.
She died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at the Greenview Inn At Town Center in Uniontown.
She was born Sept. 13, 1923 in Dola, the oldest of three daughters of Arlie and Esta (Van Houten) Romick. She married Robert M. Eley on June 19, 1943 and her husband of 69 years survives.
Surviving are her children, Richard (Suzanne) of Cuyahoga Falls, Vicki (Gregory) Lotz of Milford, James of Akron and Douglas (Deborah) of Seelyville, Ind.; sisters, Ruthella (Elroy) Baier and Pauline Williams; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents and two of her children; an infant daughter, Annette Sue and an adult son, David Lloyd.
Maxine was a full time homemaker and together with her husband raised five children. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, needlework, crossword puzzles, and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed playing her piano and served as a church pianist and organist.  Maxine was a member of Maranatha Bible Church.
