Friends of Garrett Lee Mabrey may call 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home in Kenton. A graveside service will follow at Grove Cemetery in Kenton.
Visitation services also will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver and Glick Funeral Home in Columbus, Ind.
He died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 in Siesta Key, Fla.
He was born Jan. 27, 1995 to Gary and Wendy Mabrey of Columbus, Ind., and they survive.
Also surviving are a sister, Payton Marie Mabrey of Columbus, Ind.; maternal grandparents, Rose Harshfield and George Harshfield, both of Kenton; paternal grandmother, Shirley Armentrout of Kenton; a paternal step-grandmother, Carol    Mabrey of Kenton; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James “Don” Smith and paternal grandfather, Gary Mabrey Sr.
Garrett was a senior at Columbus East High School and planned to enlist in the Air Force after high school with a possible long term career in the Air Force or politics.
He enjoyed politics, world history, especially WWII, movies, strategic war games, Ohio State football, comedy, hunting, playing PS3, hanging out with his friends and playing with his dogs Chloe and Emma.
