Services for Jerald D. “Jerry” Bailey will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Wanda Werking. At his request, cremation will follow the service.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
He died at 9:38 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Bridge Hospice Care in Bowling Green.
He was born July 17, 1944 in Kenton to Ollie and Christina (Poe) Bailey. On March 3, 1974, he married Gwendolyn Sharp in Lima and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Dr. Dean Bailey of Perrysburg; two grandson, Jacob and Samuel Bailey of Perrysburg; four sisters, Janet (Richard) Elliot of Lancaster, Gloria Cassity of Tennessee, Sharon (Dave) Hamilton of Kenton and Brenda (Dick) Ziegler of Alger.
He was retired from Honda at Indian Lake.
He graduated from Kenton High Schol in 1962 and was a graduate of Bluffton College.
