Funeral services for John S. Siebesma will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada by the Rev. Patrick Allen.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
A graveside service will begin at noon Tuesday at Garfield Park Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Mich.
He died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.
He was born June 27, 1917 in Grand Rapids, Mich., to John and Grace (Siebesma) Siebesma. He married Marian J. Wynstra on Aug. 3, 1946 and she died Aug. 28, 2009.
Surviving is a daughter, Marcia K. Siebesma of Ada.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Liefbroer.
He retired from General Motors in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he had worked as an electrician.
He graduated from Central High School in Grand Rapids. He was a member of the Richmond Reformed Church in Grand Rapids for more than 50 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the 32nd Red Arrow Division from 1941 to 1945 in New Guinea and Australia.
