Services for Kenneth W. Bartlett will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery in Kenton. Graveside military services will be conducted by AmVets Post 1994.
Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Tuesday.
He died at 11:44 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
He was born April 5, 1922 in Sac City, Iowa to Andrew and Elsie (Abendroth) Bartlett. On June 3, 1944, he married Betty Hemmerly in Louisiana and she preceded him in death on May 22, 1993.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Jr (Mary Beth) of Columbia Falls, Montana and Wayne (Carol) of Deming, N.M.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Eileen Hoovre and Dorthea Rogers.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Belle Center Methodist Church.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp in World War II in the Pacific Ocean on B24 bombers.
