Loraine Durenberger
age 62, Forest
Services for Loraine Kay (Lori) Durenberger will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Clark Shields Funeral Home by Pastor Denny Livingston. Burial will be in the Hueston Cemetery in Forest.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
She died at 5:10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at Bridge Hospice of Bowling Green.
She was born Aug. 10, 1949 in Lima to Kenneth L. Martin and Clara (Ingle) Martin and her mother survives in Dunkirk. On June 22, 1968, she married Lawrence Carl. Durenberger Jr. and he survives in Forest. They celebrated 44 years of marriage.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory K. (Angela) Durenberger and Grant K. (Denise) Durenberger of Arlington; a daughter, Carrie J. Durenberger of Mason; six grandchildren; two sisters, Jan Zickafoose of Dunkirk and Vicki (Pat) Higgins of Findlay; three brothers, Kenneth Martin of Dunkirk, Todd (Deb) Martin of Bluffton and Dean (Leah) Martin of Dunkirk.
She graduated from Hardin Northern in 1968 and was the owner of Cosmetic Technologies with offices in Findlay and Toledo.
Lori was a licensed dermalogist and cosmetologist through the Ohio Board of Cosmetology and the American Dermalogy Association.
She was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Lydia Ministries in Cleveland, where she participated in mission trips throughout the world. Lori also worked with children in the inner city and battered women.
She was very artistic and talented and enjoyed being on the Catawba Island at their lake house with family and friends.
