Services for Meredith LaVerne Overly will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Dennis Burns. Burial will be in the Otterbein Cemetery in rural Mount Victory.
Friends may call 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday.
He died at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
He was born Feb. 14, 1935 in Hardin County to Charles Kenneth and Audrey (Kelly) Overly.
He was never married.
Surviving are three nieces, Denise (Marke) Lyon and Linda (Mike) Mills, both of Marion and Marilyn (Todd) Hassinger of Delaware and great-nephews and nieces, Douglas (Amy) Lyon and Betsey Lyon, both of Marion and Lauren and Zachary Hassinger of Delaware.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Overly on April 16, 2007 and a sister, Delores Gamble on April 16, 2005.
He worked at Simon Kenton Harco Industries.
He previously attended Faith Baptist Church in Kenton.
