Services for Michael D. Quinn will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Church in Kenton by Father Anthony Dinovo. Burial will be in the Norman Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-7 p.m. Thursday at the Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton, where a prayer service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday.
He died at 8:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 at his home.
He was born Feb. 27, 1947 in Kenton to John and Loretta (Nolan) Quinn. On Aug. 26, 1967 he married Ann Hatcher and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are a son, Patrick (Pam) Quinn of Upper Sandusky; three daughters, Laura (Jim) Barber of Minneola, Fla., Paula (Robin) Beverly and Sara (Darrin) Reese, both of Kenton; 10 grandchildren, Shawn Quinn, Ryan Quinn, Allison Beverly, Adam Beverly, Erica Beverly, Ethan Beverly, Michael Barber, Jimmy Barber, Graham Reese and Max Reese and three great-grandchildren, Peyton Quinn, Parker Cline and Aubree Quinn.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Quinn on Jan. 15, 1975.
He retired from the Kenton Times and was the former owner of Quinn’s Music in Kenton. He retired in 1993 as the Immaculate Conception Church organist after 32 years.
He graduated in 1965 from Kenton High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in music education from Ohio Northern University in 1969.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Kenton.
His joy in life was his 13 grandchildren and playing the pipe organ at Immaculate Conception Church.
