Services for Dorotha J. Hamilton will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Clark Shields Funeral Home in Forest by Rev. Rex Roth. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.
Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Tuesday.
She died at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 26, 1923 in Marseilles to H. D. Dwight and Floy (Barrett) Heckathorn.
She is survived by a daughter, Martha (Lindsay) Ellcessor of Forest; a sister, Jannette Barrett; three step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James "JD" White; a daughter, Sandy Culver; a step mother, Ruby Heckathorn; two husbands, Kenneth White and William Hamilton and four brothers, John, Warren, Richard and Dwight Heckathorn.
She retired from North Electric after 30 years.
She was in the Marseilles High School graduating class of 1941.

Services for Samuel Eugene Logan will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlian-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima by Pastor Ronald James. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday.
He died at 8:26 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Lima Convalescent Home.
He was born March 3, 1922 in Westminster to Francis and Lenola (Gephart) Logan. On July 27, 1940 he married Maxine Helen McGuire, who survives in Lima.
Also surviving are two sons, Ron (Carol) Logan of Dunkirk and Wilbur L. (Diane) Logan of Lima, four grandchildren, three step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Logan and a brother, Junior Logan.
He originally worked for Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton. He retired first from B.F. Kohli after 18 years as a plumber then later retired from Sarasota Hospital after serving as maintenance supervisor for 13 years. He was a member of Local 776 Plumbers and Pipefilters Union.
He was formerly a member of Perry United Methodist Church and then was a member of Cable Road Alliance Church.
He served on the Perry School Board and was a former member of Indian Lake Coast Guard Auxiliary and Perry Grange.

Rushsylvania

Services for Dorothy M. "Mimi" Strawser will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eichholtz Funeral Home in Rushsylvania by the Revs. Evan Wall, Lloyd Ferguson and Russell Williams. Burial will be in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today.
She died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at her daughter’s residence in Rushsylvania.
She was born April 24, 1914, in Harper to Glenn and Blance (Chapman) Miller. She married Truman Aubrey Strawser and he preceded her in death July 7, 1945.
Surviving are a son, Glenn (Shirley) Strawser of Rushsylvania; two daughters, Gloria (Jack) Daines of West Liberty and Alice Strawser of Rushsylvania; a sister, Helen Mitchell of Austin, Texas; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was a 1933 graduate of Rushsylvania High School.
She was a librarian at the Rushsylvania Library for 52 years.
She was a member of the Rushsylvania Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the While Guild. She served on the Rushsylvania Elections Board and was a life member of the Women’s Eagles Auxiliary in Bellefontaine.
