Donley
Robert Neal, 80
Dunkirk
Memorial services for Robert Neal Donley will be 7 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home in Dunkirk.
There will be no visitation.
He died at 3:04 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 21, 1927, in Toledo to Peter Andrew and Daisy May (Shall) Donley. On July 29, 1951, he married Camille Chamberlin and she preceded him in death on Dec. 7, 1989.
Surviving are two sons, Deane (Michelle) Donley of El Dorado, Kan., and Donald (Margaret) Donley of Bluffton; two daughters, Marcia (Robert) Prater of Ada and Kelly (Richard) Shircliff of Stow and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Donley Jr.; two daughters, Marcia Marihugh and Lucy Lane and two brothers, Ralph Donley and Deane Donley.
He was retired from Durez Occidental Chemical Corp. in Kenton.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Korean War.
He was past commander of Kenton Amvets Post 20.
He donated his body to the Department of Neurosciences of the College of Medicine at the University of Toledo.

Evans
Norman W., 39
Belle Center
Services for Norman W. Evans will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Upper Scioto Valley High School Field House by Pastor Phil Brenneman. Burial will be in Roundhead Cemetery.
Friends may call 1-8 p.m. Friday at the Upper Scioto Valley Field House.
He went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 17, 2008, at 10:51 a.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 21, 1968, in Lima to Norman and Peggy (Fetter) Evans and they survive. On May 23, 1992, he married Wendy Hites and she also survives.
Also surviving are two children, Seth and Ciarra Evans, both at home; two sisters, Rina Thacker and Mandy (Dean) Oakley; two brothers, Randy Evans and Clint Evans; maternal grandmother, Betty Evans and mother-in-law, Terri Suter; three nieces, Tawney Thacker, Torey Thacker and Alexis Reed; three nephews, Jarod Murphy, Grant Murphy and Devin Reed and two sisters-in-law, Kim (Kyle) Murphy and Kellie (Shane) Reed.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, William Fetter, paternal grandmother, Thelma Schaub and paternal grandfather, Ray Evans.
He was employed at Nash-Finch in Lima.
He was a 1988 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School.
He was a member of the Roundhead Methodist Church and was currently serving his second term on the Upper Scioto Valley School Board.
His first priority was always to be a loving father and husband. Family and friends were always a huge part of his life.
He was a great role model and touched the lives of hundreds through his coaching of midget football, youth baseball and basketball, martial arts and weight training in his own gym, as well as at the school.

Nellie, 93
Ada
Services for Nellie Jett will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hanson Neely Funeral Home in Ada by Pastor Trent Boedicker. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ada.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and until the time of services Thursday.
She died at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton.
She was born May 8, 1914, in Hardin County to Charles O. and Dora Mae (O'Brien) Lansing. On April 15, 1935, she married William E. “Bill” Jett and he died on Feb. 2, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Carole Jean (Sam) Tong of Ada; four grandchildren, Jeanne (James) McKee, Bonnie (John) Haney and Edward (Heidi) Shaw, all of Ada and Darla (Ron) Dicus of Portage; six great-grandchildren, Tiffany Haney, Alexander McKee, Cassandra McKee, Harley Shaw, Jarred Shaw and Jenna Shaw; a brother, Roe Lansing of Ada and two sisters, Eula Mae Young and Rozella Walters, both of Ada.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Fitzpatrick and four brothers, Floyd, Russell and Chuck Lansing and an infant brother.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Gospel Church of Ada.
She was also a member of the Ada Senior Citizens and a former member of the Royal Neighbors of Alger.

Laubis
Dr. Robert Edwin, 81
Kenton
Private burial services for Dr. Robert Edwin Laubis will take place Saturday.
Visitation will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at St. John's United Church of Christ in Kenton, followed by a memorial service and a light meal in the fellowship hall.
He died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Eric and Blane; stepchildren, Diane, Deborah, Dawn and Joseph and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark.
He was a native of Kenton and a descendent of Hardin County pioneers.
He was a 1944 graduate of Kenton High School and a World War II era veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force.
He was a triple-graduate of the Ohio State University, completing his doctor of philosophy degree in agriculture education in 1959. He was an agricultural economist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture until 1966, when he transferred to the U. S. Department of State Agency for International Development.
For the next several years, he served in Laos and Korea and in Washington, D.C., guiding agricultural development projects in Central America and Africa. From 1975 until his retirement in 1981, he returned to the USDA as a director of planning and evaluation.
After his retirement from government service, Laubis continued to be involved in his community, first in Vienna, Va., and then in his hometown of Kenton, where he and his wife have lived for the last 15 years.
Second only to Bob's love for his family was his appreciation for his hometown. He and Nancy donated several acres of land to the Kenton City Schools to provide a roadway to the future campus and a downtown building was purchased and donated to the city for use as a community center.
He was a member of the Kenton Elks Lodge 157, Kenton Lions Club, Hardin County Genealogy Society, Hardin County Historical Museums and Men's Garden Club. He was a master gardener.
Bob's family celebrates his full and rich life and invites his friends and neighbors to do the same. Never one to live in sorrow or regret, Bob always looked forward with a vision of a better future.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hardin County Hospice and the Hardin County Historical Museums.
Price Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
