Private services for Elaine Lammers Houtz will be at a later date. Internment will be in Eagle Creek Cemetery, Van Buren Township, Hancock County.
She died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born June 30, 1938, in Illinois to the late Charles and Viola (Katke) Lammers. She married William Wallace Houtz, who preceded her in death in 1985.
Surviving are two sons, Gary W. (Denice) Houtz and Terry Houtz, both of Dunkirk; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary and two brothers, LeRoy and Charles Lammers.
She worked as a nurse’s aide at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center for many years.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements were handled by Crates Funeral Home, Arlington.

Graveside services for Rose Marie Miller will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fairview Belle Center Cemetery.
Friends may call 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton.
She died at 2:50 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born Sept. 19, 1960, in Kenton to David and Ella Ann (Barnes) Miller.
Surviving are a son, Joseph A. Miller of Kenton; five half-sisters, Margaret Ann (Ronnie) Brown of Defiance, Fonda Sue Robinson of Lakeview, Linda L. (Junior) Holcomb and Barbara J. Hatcher, both of Kenton and Hazel L. (Fred) Kill of Lima; three half-brothers, David E. (Alice) Miller and James "Bill" (Jeri) Miller, both of Kenton and Fred Clark.
She was formerly an LPN at the Corinthian and Logan County nursing homes.
She was a 1979 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School.
Memorials may be made to Hardin County Hospice.
