She died March 16, 2008, at her home.

Robert Russell, 86
Kenton

Services for Robert Russell Nichols will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Jason Manns. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, with graveside military services to be conducted by the honor guard from Kenton Amvets Post 1994.
Friends may call 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
He died at 2:47 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
He was born May 24, 1921, in Hardin County to Emory and Zulu (Schertzer) Nichols. On April 4, 1965, he married Beulah Gillespie and she preceded him in death on Nov. 28, 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Royce (Belinda) A.) Nichols of Dunkirk and Terrille Russell Nichols of Dayton; a daughter, Susan Kay (Dale) Coburn of New Carlisle; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a stepson, Thomas Marquis of Kenton; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren and a brother, Victor of Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis and Woodrow and three sisters, Josephine McElroy, Kathryn Nichols and Isabelle Putnam.
He retired from Rockwell International in Kenton in 1986.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II in New Guinea, Luzon and the Asiatic Pacific Theatre.

Services for Mary Lou Rush will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton by the Rev. Tomas Pistora. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery in Kenton.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
She died at 9:33 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Hillside Acres in Willard.
She was born April 13, 1923, in Hardin County to Raymond and Mae (Wooley) Sloan. On June 1, 1947, she married Edgar Rush and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1997.
Surviving are a daughter, Jan (Michael) Bell of Willard; two grandsons, Aaron Michael and Evan Edgar, both of Willard; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Miriam Carlin and Martha Haggland and two brothers, James and Paul.
She was a homemaker and a retired medical secretary.
A 1941 graduate of Belle Center High School, she was a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church of Kenton and attended the First United Methodist Church in Willard. She was active in visitation with church members.
She was a member of the Eastern Star for 60 years.

Services for Patricia A. Rizor will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Clark Shields Funeral Home in Forest by Pastor Steve Umphress. Burial will be in Hueston Cemetery in Forest.

She died at 10:37 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
She was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Kenton to Donald W. and Mary Margaret (Anderson) Miller. Her mother, Mary Margaret Deringer, survives in Kenton. She married Robert E. Thomas and they divorced. On Aug. 28, 2001, she married Richard L. Rizor and he survives in Forest.
Also surviving are a son, Keith (Teresa) Thomas of Wharton; a stepson, Steve (Lisa) Rizor of Texas; three grandchildren, Tricia, Tanya and Dalton Thomas, all of Wharton; six step-grandchildren, Brad, Nik, Trevor and Tommie Rizor and Ryan and Cass Eldridge, all of Texas and a brother, Ed (Vickey) Miller of Ada.
She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and her grandparents.
She was a 1963 graduate of Riverdale High School and the Columbus Business University in 1964.
She formerly worked at Ohio Northern College of Law, Cooper Tire and Rubber Co., Courier Carrier and was a custodian for the Community First Bank of Forest, the Forest United Methodist Church and the Forest Christian Preschool.
She was a member of the Blanchard River Church of Christ and its Ladies Aid Society of Dunkirk.
She was an avid Ohio State University fan and enjoyed NASCAR, working outside and her dog, Lacey.
