Services for Sharon L. Anspaugh will be 2 p.m. Monday at Boyd Funeral Home, Marion by the Rev. Joseph Miller. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
Friends may call noon to 2 p.m. Monday.
She died at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 16, 1936, in Kenton to Harold and Gladys (Daum) Smith and both are deceased. On July 7, 1970, in Kenton she married Donald E. Anspaugh and he died March 17, 2001.
Surviving are a daughter, Amy (David) Mailer of Columbus; a stepson, Donald Lee (Toni) Anspaugh of Delaware; two grandsons, Cameron D. and Benjamin H. Mailer; a sister, Sue (Richard) Eriksson of Garland, Texas; a sister-in-law, Helen Halley of Marion; two nephews and a niece, Michael and Pam Halley of Elkhart, Ind., and David Halley and Kathy Davis, both of Marion; two half brothers-in-law, James (Judy) Anspaugh of Goodyear, Ariz., and John (Jerry) Anspaugh of Marion; John's kids, Jeff and Monica Anspaugh of Marion and Ed and Jill Speiser of Nye; two nephews, Jon and Laura Weist of Arlington, Texas, and Gerald Weist of Garland, Texas; several great nieces and nephews and a great-great-niece.
She retired as a registered nurse after 42 years (1957-1999) with the former B.F. Goodrich Co., to Strato Flex to finally Parker Hannafin companies in Green Camp for 17 years. She also worked at Children's Hospital in Columbus and Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
She was a member of Prospect St. United Methodist Church in Marion, Artisans Guild, several bowling teams and Marion Senior Citizens. She attended Ohio State University and was a graduate of Mt. Carmel School of Nursing in Columbus.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association and Prospect St. United Methodist Church in Marion.

Services for Grace J. "Skippy" Opper will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Wharton First Church of God in Wharton by Pastor Joe Carney. Burial will be in the Wharton Richland Union Cemetery, Wharton.
Friends may call 1-6 p.m. Sunday at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
She went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ at 8:01 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
She was born May 19, 1929, in Berwick to the late John L. Long and Pearl C. Wehrle Long Wisner and step father G. Levaun Wisner. On March 7, 1948, she married her sweetheart Jack D. Opper at the Wharton First Church of God parsonage and he survives in Wharton. They had recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Surviving are her four daughters, Terri L. Opper of Marion, Dixie O. (Charles) Risser of McCutchenville, Kimberly A. (David) Passet and Stacy S. (Billy Jr.) Rickle, both of Wharton; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie (Long) Jacobs of Wharton.
Skippy was a wonderful loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren, Sharis (Tracy) McDannell, Gabriel Passet, Kristianne (Josh) Thiel, Leah Passet, Angie Efaw, Gillian (Don) Houdeshell, Charles Risser lll, Douglas, Arielle, Dustin, Dana, Aleina Rickle, and to eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl C. Long and an only son, Jack Duane Opper.
Skippy graduated from the Wharton School in 1947. She was a homemaker, former Girl Scout Leader, Riverdale Music booster, Wharton Park Board member, a Gideon, Democratic Board of Elections and long time member of the Wharton First Church of God where she held the office of Sunday School treasure for many years and the Ladies WCSC were she held several offices.

Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Virginia Anne Temple will be 3 p.m. Monday in the Immaculate Conception Chapel at the Motherhouse, 5900 Delhi Road, Mount St. Joseph, Ohio. Burial will be in the Sisters of Charity Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-3 p.m. Monday in the Heritage Room at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati.
She died Monday, March 24, 2008.
She was born Rita La Von Temple in Kenton on March 16, 1920.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Fout and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Virgil, Elmo and Dan Temple and her sisters Kathleen Crosser and Clementine Melville.
She entered the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati on Sept. 7, 1938. She earned the bachelor of arts degree in English from the College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati in 1955 and the master's degree in education specializing in guidance counseling from the University of Detroit in 1969.
Sister Virginia Anne began her ministry as a teacher in 1940, serving 26 years in the classroom. She taught primarily in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, but also ministered in Colorado and Michigan at the following schools: Sacred Heart School, Denver, Colo., (1940); St. Teresa School, Springfield, Ohio (1941-'42); St. Joseph School, Springfield, Ohio (1942-'43); Corpus Christi School, Dayton (1943-'52); Annunciation School, Cincinnati (1952-'53); St. James School, Bay City, Mich., (1953-'59); and St. Albert the Great School, Kettering (1959-'63). From 1963 until 1966 she taught high school journalism at St. Mary School, Jackson, Mich.
Beginning in 1966 she launched her career as a guidance counselor, a ministry that would span 22 years in Ohio and Michigan including O'Rafferty High School, Lansing, Mich., (1966-'70); Lansing Catholic Central High School, Lansing, Mich., (1970-'77); Marion High School, Cincinnati (1977-'81); and Purcell Marian High School, Cincinnati (1981-'88).
In 1988 she retired to volunteer with Meals on Wheels in Cincinnati until 1992. At that time she initiated the organization and development of the volunteer program at Bayley Place, a retirement facility in Cincinnati, where she acted as director of volunteers for many years. Sister was honored with the JC Penney Golden Rule Award in 1996 in recognition of outstanding volunteer work.
Memorials may be made in S. Virginia Anne Temple's name to the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati Retirement Fund, 5900 Delhi Road, Mount St. Joseph, Ohio 45051.
