Services for Earl M. McClelland will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. Steven Edmiston. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Crates Funeral Home in Arlington and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
He died Saturday, April 5, 2008, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1931, to Roy and Tracy (Line) McClelland. On June 9, 1951, he married Joanne M. Bishop and she survives.
Also surviving are six sons, Keith I. (Rebecca) McClelland of Eagle Township; Steven D. (Natalie) McClelland of Madison Township; Roger D. (Beth) McClelland of Findlay, Christopher J. (Jill) McClelland of Lima, Patrick E. (Kelly) McClelland of Tuscon, Ariz., Bruce B. (Sandra) McClelland of Jackson Township; three daughters, Connie (Jim) Walter of Carey, Shelly R. (Robert) Garey of Findlay and Kathy L. (Rick) Manley of Sanford, Fla; a brother, Robert L. McClelland of Eagle Township; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy L. McClelland and a sister, Mildred.
He was a 1949 graduate of Arlington High School and worked at the Plain View Diary, the Arlington Elevator and retired after 36 years with Cooper Tire and Rubber.
