Services for Lois A. Gregory will be at 11 p.m. Saturday at Bringman Clark Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky by Pastor Gary Stumbo. Burial will be in Chandler Cemetery, Marseilles.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and an hour prior to services Saturday.
She died at 2:40 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at the Fairhaven North Campus.
She was born Jan. 28, 1924, in Hardin County to Elmer P. and Beatrice F. (Albert) Bolenbaugh. She married Frank Gregory on May 5, 1947, and he survives in Upper Sandusky.
Also surviving is a daughter, Carol Hill of Upper Sandusky; a son, Gary Lee Gregory of Pickens, S.C.; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and a brother, David Rex Bolenbaugh of Forest. She was preceded in death by a daughter Lois K. and a brother Paul.
She was owner operator of Lois' Beauty Shop, Marseilles for 20 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Upper Sandusky. She was a former member of Eastern Star for 30 years and a Red Cross volunteer.

Lorenz

Annapolis, Md.

A memorial service for William Aaron Lorenz will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Marseilles Methodist Church by the Rev. Tim Benjamin. Burial will be at Chandler Cemetery outside of Marseilles.
He died April 2, 2008, at his home.
He was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Coshocton to Aaron and Ivy Lorenz. In 1951 he married Joyce Chandler and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Karen Karos of Annapolis, Md.; two grandsons and a sister, Diann Souslin of Coshocton.
During World War II, he served in Germany with the U.S. Army Adjutant General's Office and was honorably discharged in 1947.
In 1974, he obtained a bachelor of science degree from the University of Baltimore and then, in 1978, he received a master of business administration degree from the University of Memphis. He was an industrial traffic manager for W. R. Grace Co. in Baltimore, Md. and Memphis, Tenn., for 40 years. After retiring from Grace in 1990, he joined the Tire Battery Corp.
A member of Eastport United Methodist Church, he also volunteered at Eastport Elementary School.

Services for Ray Edward Nowlan were Saturday at the Clarke-Venable Baptist Church in Decatur, Miss. Burial was in the Decatur Cemetery. The Robert Barham Family Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
He died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Kosciusko, Miss. He was born April 29, 1913, in Hardin County to Ralph D. and Sarah (Zehner) Nowlan. He married Eula Mae Smith and she preceded him in death in 2000.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra (Larry) Hartzler of Decatur, Miss., and Judy Kabota of Bend, Ore.; a son, Johnny (Barbara) Wright of Florence, Miss.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Rosemary (Kenneth) Nowlan and numerous nieces and nephews in the Hardin County and surrounding Ohio area.
He was preceded in death by a son, Nelson Wright; two brothers, Irvin (Mabel) Nowlan and Kenneth Nowlan and a sister, Mabel (Homer) Eckenrode of Ada.
He was employed as a plaster mason and a dairy farmer. He was an active serviceman in the 37th Division in the South Pacific during World War II, receiving the Bronze Star and other military honors. He was an avid fisherman, loving father, grandfather and friend.
He was a member of the Clarke-Venable Baptist Church.
