Services for Charles F. Hanawalt took place on March 22 in Massillon.
He died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Mas-sillon.
He was born in Kenton on Sept. 24, 1913, to George M. and Cecelia (Bookmyer) Hanawalt.
Surviving are his children and two sisters, Mary Williams and Helen Ann Slack, both of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances R. Hanawalt in 1988; four brothers and four sisters.
He retired from Eaton Corporation and owned a landscaping business.
He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the K of C Council 554.

Services for Doris K. Weaver will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton by the Rev. J. Mac Geissinger. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Friday.
She died at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton.
She was born Nov. 24, 1916, in Hardin County to Andrew and Bessie (Amweg) Vogt. On Aug. 17, 1935, she married Harold Wesley Weaver and he died in 1991.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Robert) Gossard of Kenton; two granddaughters, Katherine (Mike) Piper of Mount Victory and Mandy (Brandon) France of Ridgeway; four great-grandchildren, Dustin, Derick, Kevin and Mara; two step-great-grandchildren, Bryant and Jaymie; a sister, Mary Ruth (Glenn) McDaniel of Forest; a brother-in-law, Jackson Weaver of Columbus and a sister-in-law, Wilda Weaver of Meeker.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dolly Marie Weaver and Grace Ellen Schmidt.
She was a homemaker and a valued employee at Mt. Victory Hardware. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to Hardin Hills Health Center Activities Fund.

Services for Sarah Iolene White will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue by the Rev. Denny Livingston. Burial in Hale Cemetery.
Friends may call 3 to 6 p.m. Friday.
She died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at her residence.
She was born April 28, 1928, in Hardin County to the late Ralph and Pearl (Hoffman) Brown. On Sept. 14, 1975, she married Bill G. White and he died Oct. 30, 2003.
Surviving are a brother, Lowell (Mina) Brown of Mount Victory; a sister, Mary Louise (Elwood) Hinton of Hepburn; nieces, Diane Brown of Mount Victory, Jolene (Bart) Bailey of Kenton, Andrea (Nathan) Brooks of Mount Victory and Barbara Burk of Kenton; a nephew, Dennis (Tina) Hinton of Kenton and seven grand nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and taught piano for over 50 years.
She graduated from LaRue High School and was a member of the Otterbein Church and the Dudley Daughters Circle.
She very much loved her family, needlework, quilting, music, crossword puzzles and watching old movies.
